Biography

Associate Prof Janet Xiang-Yu Hou graduated with Bachelor of Medicine from Shandong Medical University (now Shandong University), Master of Medicine by research from Beijing Medical University (now Peking University) and PhD from Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Before joining USQ as an Associate Prof in epidemiology, Janet worked as an Academic Dean at Nan Tien Institute of Higher Education, Project Manager in QLD Health Director General’s Office, Medical Affairs Director for Greater China at Mead Johnson Nutrition company, Director of Research Development in North Asia at QUT, and an Associate Prof in epidemiology at School of Public Health and Social Work at QUT.
