Dr. Siqi Huo is a Lecturer and ARC DECRA Fellow at the University of Southern Queensland. Dr. Huo has a wealth of valuable expertise in Polymer Composites, Thermosetting Resins, and Fire Retardants. He obtained his PhD degree from the Wuhan University of Technology in 2018, worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Zhejiang University in 2020-2022, and joined the University of Southern Queensland as a Lecturer and ARC DECRA Fellow in 2023. He has published 90+ peer-reviewed journal articles in international top journals, including Progress in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering Journal, and Composites Part B (Citations: 5,500+, H-index: 43), with 2 book chapters. As chief investigator (CI) or sole-CI, until now he has succeeded in winning competitive research grants from Australia and China, including ARC DECRA, ARC DP, National Natural Science Foundation of China grant, and three China Postdoctoral Science Foundation grants. He is serving as Editorial Board Member for Fire, Advanced Materials Science and Technology, and Archives of Advanced Engineering Science. He is serving as Topical Advisory Panel of Crystals.
