Mark Emmerson is a Sessional Lecturer in Humanities and is deeply interested in everything to do with human society and culture. A migration historian by training, his main research interests focus on the areas of Scandinavian history, European society, politics and culture, Australian immigration and multiculturalism, cultural studies, academic skills development and learning design. He is also a passionate and qualified teacher, having taught at USQ for over 14 years across a wide range of subjects, including Australian Studies, International Relations, History, Politics, Sociology and Tertiary Preparation.
