Kieran is a Senior Lecturer and Team Leader (Academic) in the USQ College. His disciplinary background is in psychology and his research broadly explores the impact of psychosocial factors on students' transitions into and through higher education. He is Co-Investigator and Project Coordinator of the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) funded (£271,976) ‘Student Wellbeing & Life Outcomes Project’ (StudentWellLives.com; Twitter: @uniwelllives). Prior to working at USQ, he held Research Fellow and Lecturer positions in Higher Education and Psychology at the University of Surrey and the University of Roehampton. He holds a Visiting Lectureship in the Surrey Institute of Education at the University of Surrey.
