A lecturer in nursing with a career spanning over 20 years in paediatric critical care, emergency nursing and research management. Kelly is passionate about sharing her clinical nursing and research experience having helped broker collaborative multi-disciplinary research at a national level. Her work has been acknowledged internationally in the way of conference presentations and research publications. She has held an executive position for an international research group, is a experienced ethics committee member, and currently holds a position on the Queensland Child and Youth Clinical Network (QCYCN) Clinician Collaborative as well as memberships in the PREDICT Research Network and PATTERN Research Network. With a commitment to improving clinical care at the bedside through evidence based practice and research and embedding these principles in teaching at USQ Kelly hopes to inspire the next generation of nurses.
