Research interests
My current research interests involve memory for events that have occurred in the last few seconds. This research comes under the banner of short-term memory and working memory. My specific interest in this area is concerned with how our long-term semantic knowledge impacts upon memory performance in both correct recall and in the generation of memory errors. In this research I am working with colleagues at the Australian Catholic University, City University London, Memorial University and Moncton University in Canada.

My second area of interest involves cognitive recovery after stroke. Specifically, I am interested in early cognitive interventions in the days after stroke.
