Eden Hurn is a Bachelor of Wildlife Science Graduate from the University of Queensland and began her Honours in Environment & Sustainability with the University of Southern Queensland in 2023. Currently, the research she is undertaking is in relation to small terrestrial vertebrates and their use of artificial habitats in different habitat types. Eden has a big passion for reptiles of Australia, leading her to her current honours program. Eden currently works at the UniSQ as an Associate Evaluation Officer under the Graduate Program. Eden also works as an animal attendant on weekends and actively volunteers with wildlife educators and assists in field work research where possible. In the past, Eden has provided teaching assistance for courses such as Animal Anatomy and Physiology, Australian Terrestrial Vertebrates and Biology. She was a head demonstrator in Biology and Animal Anatomy and Physiology. These experiences gave her the skills to provide teaching assistance and inspired her into pursuing a career in post-graduate wildlife studies.
