Level B Nursing Lecturer
I have been a Registered Nurse since 1988. Clinically, I have considerable experience in intensive care nursing, having worked in a variety of intensive care units across Australia. I completed a graduate diploma in education in 2011. I have worked at Southern Cross University and Charles Darwin University and have been employed by USQ for the past 7 years. In the nurse academic role, I have held many course coordination roles at the undergraduate level and have taught both theory and clinical skills across all year levels. Responsible for providing high-level teaching to undergraduate nursing students in the Bachelor of Nursing course based at Ipswich campus and perform full academic responsibilities and any related administration.
I am currently a PhD candidate at RMIT researching the lived experience of registered nurses transitioning from clinician to academic.
