Biography

Dr. Adorada is a Research Fellow in Plant Pathology at the Centre for Crop Health, Institute of Life Sciences and the Environment at the University of Southern Queensland Australia. He has BSc degree in Agriculture (Plant Pathology) from the University of the Philippines at Los Baños (UPLB) in 1987, MSc degree in Agricultural Biology (Plant Pathology) from the New Mexico State University (NMSU) USA in 1994, PhD degree in Plant Pathology from the Charles Sturt University (CSU) NSW Australia in 2013. He worked at: UPLB, the Philippine Rice Research Institute, NMSU, CSU, NSW-Department of Primary Industries and University of Southern Queensland in plant pathology; the Los Alamos National Laboratory USA in environmental microbiology; Plantek Inc. in hybrid maize breeding; the International Rice Research Institute in abiotic stress tolerance breeding; at NMSU and CSU in teaching plant pathology, entomology and microbiology courses. He is currently at UniSQ doing research and supervising students in plant pathology.
