Research expertise:
a. Foot and Ankle research
b. Information databases design and data capture (Craniofacial database, foot database, virtual artifact)
c. Body-wear and foot-wear tracking system.
d. Forensic expert witness (CCTV, crime scene investigation)
Research interest:
Application: human movement, sport injury, accident and crime scene mapping, human gait and limb 3D modelling.
PhD research topics in the following areas:
1.Smartphone and whatsApp for older adult fall-risk monitoring.
2.Body-wear and fall-risk monitoring of older adults including precision motion tracking.
4. Modelling of the foot plantar (skin and tissue) stress during gait or running.
5. Modelling foot shape change in shoes using plantar pressure.
6. Development of precision plantar pressure long-term monitoring system
6. Health-related information system development such as the spread of communicable diseases modelling and the development of early warning system.
