Enamul obtained PhD degree from the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) in 2011. His research focused on data mining algorithms and he developed efficient, effective and realistic methods in the privacy-preserving data-mining field, using three core techniques: statistical disclosure control, purpose-based access control and data anonymization. Enamul obtained his master and bachelor (with honours) degrees in statistics from the Department of Statistics, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Currently he is working as a Lecturer (Statistics) at the School of Agricultural, Computational and Environmental Sciences, University of Southern Queensland. Before holding this position, he worked as a Statistician at the School Human Movement Studies, University of Queensland, Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of New South Wales, Canberra campus (UNSW@ADFA) and at the Australian Centre of Excellence for Risk Analysis (ACERA), University of Melbourne. He also worked as a Lecturer/Assistant professor at the Department of Statistics, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Enamul greatly contributed to the research in the field of data mining, public health, applied statistics, biostatistics and signal processing through innovative research work. He has achieved a good publication record during his research career. His research articles have been published by the world leading journals e.g., Children and Youth Services Review, International Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems, Plos One, Defence and Peace Economics, Archives of Public Health, Future Generations Computer Systems, American Journal of Preventive Medicine, IEEE Transactions on Cloud Computing, International Journal of Obesity, Information Systems Frontiers, Acta Informatica, and Expert Systems with Applications etc. Enamul is actively involved in providing statistical advice (face-to-face, zoom and telephone) from the research design stage through to data collection, analysis and interpretation to USQ academics and researchers including PhD students via USQ Statistical Consulting Unit (SCU). His statistical advice are greatly appreciated by the USQ researchers. Enamul received USQ Publication Excellence Award in 2017.
