Petra is an Italian & Biripai woman from Forster-Tuncurry (towards the bottom of the NSW North Coast). She was born on, and grew up in, Ngunawal/Ngabri land in Canberra, until she moved to QLD in January 2021. She's a first-time mum and lover of all things pop culture. Professionally, Petra has been in the University sector since 2014, working at ANU in the Facilities Division, and at UQ in Student Admin and then Learning Design. She has a Bachelor of Primary Education and taught as a substitute teacher prior to her involvement in the tertiary sector. Petra is currently working at the University of Southern Queensland in the College for First Nations, as the College Support Officer.
